CLICK POINT

The Local Musenga training center is a local initiative to help and educate school leavers to learn basic computer skills so that they can find gainful employment. Ntanda assist Click Point by donating our old computer and printers, which are recycled and reused. We are always looking for donations of any computer equipment from private individuals or businesses.

Two of our our very own team members Ethel and Tina attended this fantastic program.

If you would like to donate any old laptops or desktops please contact the training centre directly by emailing doubleclickecz@gmail.com

By focusing on skills development and employee training, it enhances job security and enables the local workforce to take on specialized roles.

LIVINGSTONE, ZAMBIA - 5 night package from USD890 per person sharing

Join us on a safari to Zambia that offers a unique and enriching experience, combining adventure and an opportunity to make a positive impact.

We offer you the following basic five-night package which can be extended to suit you:

Day 1:  Collect from Livingstone airport and transfer to Jollyboys.

All meals are for your own account unless otherwise mentioned.

Day 2:  You will be collected from the Guesthouse and transferred to Victoria Falls for a tour of the Falls.

The falls look different month by month, in direct relationship to the rains and how full and fast flowing the Zambezi is - each Season has its pros and cons, so be sure to ask us what the highlights are during the month of your visit.

Vic Falls Opening Times in Zambia:

Daily from 06:00 - 18:00

Entrance Fees are payable upon entry. USD20

In the afternoon you will be collected for an encounter like no other. Clients are invited to interact and feed members of the rescued Zambezi Elephant herd in a positive and secure environment, with the onus of the experience to Observe, Experience, Conserve.

The six Zambezi Elephants that make up this herd, were left orphaned after an extreme drought led to culling operations in Zimbabwe in the 1960’s and 70’s. Raised with pioneering positive reinforcement techniques – these are elephants that have grown up with safe human support. There is an extremely strong bond between members of the herd and their handlers. This love and respect are generously extended by the elephants to all the humans they meet. The herd receive regular visits from an advisory committee of animal welfare and veterinary specialists, who have assisted in all aspects of the herd dynamics including emotional and physical wellbeing – even the all-important dental check-ups!

From there you will be transferred to the Zambezi River to end your day with a spectacular Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River. This scheduled Sunset Cruise drifts past Siloka Island, enjoying the abundant wildlife along the banks of the Zambezi River and takes approximately 2 hours. Snacks and a light BBQ Supper and complimentary local drinks will be served.

Day 3:  Enjoy a 3-to-4-hour bike tour through the Livingstone landscape. Cliff the ‘Local Cowboy’ is a Livingstone legend. He started a pre-school with the profits from his bike tours and the legacy continues. Let the guides show you around and wow you with their knowledge of Livingstone. Tell the guides what you want to see or where you want to go, and they will ensure that you have a great time.

By taking part in this Bike tour, you will have fun interacting with the local community, while supporting a local preschool.

All meals are for your own account.

Day 4:              Explore the local markets, (craft, furniture, food, and township markets) and try your hand at some local Zambian cooking before having a great local lunch. This trip also includes basic local language lessons and a historical tour of town. Within 4 hours you’ll be emerged in the Zambian culture.

All meals are for your own account.

Day 5:              A local Tour Operator will collect you from the guesthouse for an early morning Game Drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, which is the local park here in Livingstone. It has beautiful scenery and it’s located right next to the Zambezi River. The park is the smallest National Park in Zambia and has a wide variety of game, including white rhinos. There are no predators except for crocs. Special highlight: it has a grave site of the first settlers of Livingstone.

From there you are going for a short walk through the park and hopefully view the endangered white rhinos. It is an amazing experience and one of the best game viewing opportunities in the Livingstone area.

The evening’s activity is the highlight of this 5-night package. You will be collected from the guesthouse for a first of its kind, local initiative aimed at developing community-based tourism in the heart of the Human and wildlife conflict zone.

The tour takes place in the encroached elephant migratory route, known as the corridor and aims to create a Cohabitation zone, instead of a conflict zone. The communities living in conflict with Elephants, need to be involved in tourism initiatives and see a benefit from tourism and place a value in wildlife as a resource, rather than a curse.

This tour highlights not only the unique challenges faced by people and the wildlife that live and share the corridor but also highlights other cultural aspects of Zambian community life, like local music, dance, and traditional medicine.

By visiting the frontline of the conflict zone, guests will find themselves in the South Dambwa community that live along the National Park boundary which is the primary point of HWC (human wildlife conflict).

The community will treat you to a fantastic display of dance and song from the local children.  Get involved with the Community and learn to dance and sing with the children. These are the same children who have given up chasing and harassing Elephants for fun and now participate in a tourism related activity instead.

The dance is followed by a drive through the narrow streets of the Dambwa community where guests can visit local stalls, sample locally brewed beers and wines or visit with the local medicine woman for herbalist remedies or recipes and onto a traditional Zambian ‘’Matebeto’’ dinner (Matebeto is a selection of traditional dishes form the region) over dinner, village elders entertain with storytelling, song, and lore.

The night tour finishes with a night drive through the primary conflict zone with a high probability to view Elephant, Buffalo, or Hippo as they now openly move around the encroached corridor hungrily eyeing up gardens, crops and sadly human litter and waste.
