KAFUE NATIONAL PARK

This massive park lies in a north/south direction in the centre of western Zambia, Kafue is the oldest and largest of Zambia’s national parks. It covers a massive22 400 km² / 8 650 mi². Founded in the 1920s and formally established as a national park in the 1950s by the legendary Norman Carr, Kafue is one of the largest reserves in the whole of Africa.


Northern Kafue is also home to the Busanga Plain which is on every avaid safari goers bucket list.

This park offer a range of activities from walking, game drives day and night, river cruises, birding, fishing and canoeing.
